After a 12-year gap, Baton Rouge native Brooke Hoover makes her third appearance on ABC's "What Would You Do?" at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Hosted by ABC News' John Quiñones, the series, in its 17th season, takes cameras across America, creating controversial situations using paid actors, to see how unknowing onlookers will react.

'What Would You Do?' host John Quiñones breaks in with questions after a staged situation plays out on the Oct. 7 episode.
In Wednesday's episode, "hidden cameras reveal what people do when witnessing an attempted child abduction, someone faking injury for a lawsuit, an adult downplaying the effects of drugs to a teen and a person pressuring their sober friend to have alcohol," according to the show synopsis. Hoover will be part of the faked injury segment.
Hoover, 43, is a comedienne and actress living in New York. She's had guest-starring roles on "Manifest," "Blue Bloods" and "Saturday Night Live" and also acted in feature films "Ted K," "The Runner" and "The Switch," among other projects.
In episodes of "What Would You Do?" in 2011 and 2012, Hoover played a plus-size shopper and an overweight teen, respectively.
