In the first half of their game against the Broncos, the New Orleans Saints lost starting cornerback Paulson Adebo for the remainder of the game with a knee injury. In the second half, they lost their other starting corner.

Late in the third quarter, the Saints ruled Marshon Lattimore out for the remainder of the game with a hamstring injury. Lattimore recorded four tackles in the game before his injury.

Undrafted rookie Rico Payton took Lattimore's place in the lineup.

Lattimore missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury, but had appeared in each of the Saints' seven games so far this season.

He was off to a strong start in 2024, having allowed only nine completions on 16 passes in which he was the closest defender in coverage, according to Pro Football Reference.
