A Denham Springs man has pled guilty to distribution of child pornography, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release Wednesday.
Barry Paul Vining, 56, admitted to knowingly distributing two images of child pornography on Nov. 27, 2022. At the time, Vining also possessed files that contained numerous images and videos of child pornography, the release says.
"Our office will remain steadfast in the prosecution of the horrific crime of child pornography, a crime that preys on the most vulnerable, our youth," said U.S. Attorney Ronald Gathe. "I want to thank our Project Safe Childhood Partners, especially the U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency for their hard work in investigating this illegal act.”
