New food and drinks on the block

Jed's Local, 672 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, introduced the October po-boy of the month. For every order of the surf and turf po-boy — made with 12-hour debris-style roast beef, topped with fried Gulf shrimp and dressed in gravy for $16.99 — Jed's will donate $1 to The Foundation for Woman’s, which is an extension of Woman’s Hospital that raises philanthropic support to improve the health of women and infants.

The carbonara pie has made its way to the fall menu at Rocca Pizzeria, 3897 Government St., Baton Rouge. The pizza is made with mozzarella, house-cured pancetta, cage-free egg, pecorino and ground pepper.

Rock-n-Sake, 3043 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, released the October roll of the month for Tuesdays: the salmon zest roll is made with fresh salmon, snowkrab, wrapped in soy paper with a hint of lemon zest and served with spicy ponzu for dipping. Dine in to get your choice of a "Habanero Crunch" or tiger roll for $6 when you purchase any regular-priced roll.

The fall drink lineup is here at Rêve Coffee, 8211 Village Plaza Court, Baton Rouge. Choose from an orange cold-foam mocha cold brew, pecan pie latte, pumpkin cold-foam dirty chai latte or fall chiller with spiced orange brown sugar syrup.

Counterspace, 5621 Government St., Baton Rouge, added a new drink to the menu. The ginger lemonade includes a house-made syrup that'll add a little spice and zest to your life.

Andy's Frozen Custard, with multiple locations around Baton Rouge, has launched a Louisiana Tiger Crunch Jackhammer for football season. The treat is made with custard, Oreo cookies and purple candy crunch, jacked down the center with marshmallow creme.
