The music scene in Louisiana never stops. There's a new song, album, concert or honor daily for the state's many talented artists.
Here are four things of note that have landed in our in-boxes lately:
BETTER THAN EZRA: Where better for the alt-rock group to open its headlining "Legends of the Fall: Tokyo Drift Tour" than Baton Rouge, where it formed in the late '80s on the LSU campus?
The hometown show will take place on the lawn of L’Auberge Casino & Hotel at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. Tickets are $35.
The tour is in support of BTE's latest project, "Super Magick," its 10th studio album and first album release in a decade.
LAINEY WILSON: The ubiquitous Grammy-winning singer-songwriter from Baskin, has secured two more high-profile gigs.
Wilson, 32, will co-host “The 58th Annual CMA Awards,” airing live from Bridgetown Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 20, on ABC and the next day on Hulu.
Joining her will be country star Luke Bryan and former NFL star and fellow Louisiana native Peyton Manning.
In addition, on Thanksgiving Day, Wilson will perform at halftime of the New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys 3:30 p.m. matchup. The game airs on Fox from AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
CJ SOLAR: Another Louisiana singer-songwriter, Solar released a new song earlier this month called "Silver Bullets."
The song features Solar's friend and blues rock guitarist Jared James Nichols.

LAUREN DAIGLE: Popular demand has led to the addition of a second show at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans for the Grammy-winning Christian singer's annual "The Behold Christmas Tour.”
The Louisiana singer, already set to perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, will also give a show on Thursday, Dec. 12.
