The Krewe of Artemis' 2025 Royal Court was introduced to board members, members of the royal court, krewe members and their guests at its 24th coronation on Aug. 10.
Renaissance Hotel Baton Rouge was the site of the festivities.

Mark Lee Morgan and Dr. Susan Bankston Voss were crowned King and Queen Artemis XXIV.
The court presentation continued with the introduction of the royal maids: Sophia Grace Lalonde, Berkley Morgan Duncan, Adeline Touchet and Abigail Anne Spinosa. The royal dukes are Sean Patrick Valluzzo, Andrew Raleigh Lee, Maurice McCall Vick III and Brady Christopher Maggio.
Princesses are Charlie Elizabeth Canady, Mia Marie Vick, Amelia Ryan Allen and Harper Elizabeth Allen. The queen’s pages are Isabelle Audrey Locke and Keller Marie Marcel. Junior dukes are Grayson Taylor Ludwig, David Keith Chauvin III, Eli George Lemoine and Boyce Miller Duncan. The king’s page is Gaines Thomas Babin.
Morgan is the husband of Queen Artemis XIX Kim Frischhertz Morgan and is the founder and principal of SEMS, Inc. Dr. Bankston is the wife of King Artemis XIX David Voss. Dr. Bankston is a pediatrician at Baton Rouge Clinic.
Lalonde is the daughter of Dr. Jimmy and Dr. Elise Lalonde. Duncan's parents are Bradley Duncan and Lindsay Duncan. Bonner is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Everett Bonner. Spinosa's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Spinosa.
Valluzzo is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Valluzzo. Lee is the son of Dr. Matt Lee and Dr. Mimi Singer Lee and Dr. Ginger Stevenson Bartsch and Ben Bartsch. Vick IV, is the son of Dr. Randy and Alicia Vick. Maggio's parents are Blake Maggio and Shannon Maggio.
Canady is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Canady. Vick's parents are Dr. Randy and Alicia Vick. The Allens are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Allen.
Ludwig is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bourg and Karl Ludwig. Chauvin III, is the son of David Chauvin Jr., and Nicole Chauvin. Lemoine's parents are Jennifer and Corey Lemoine. Duncan is the son of Bradley Duncan and Lindsay Duncan.
Locke is the daughter of Andy Locke and Mrs. Sarah Locke. Marcel is the daughter of Dr. Ryan Marcel and Dr. Katherine Marcel.
Babin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bourg and Hays Babin.
Also presented was the 2024 Royal Court: Ned Fasullo, King Artemis XXIII; Michelle Cook Taylor, Queen Artemis XXIII; royal maids Isabella Hadley Ewen, Hannah Isabella Kimbrough and Anna Katherine Ruebsamen; and royal dukes Bobby Brockman Rudy, Jack Hensley Butler and Philip Benjamin Wesley.
Artemis board members include President Joanne Harvey, Leigh Davis, Marie Esquivel, Michelle Ingram, Edith Rahm, Katy Braun, Alexis Harvey and Molly Shepherd.
The royal court will be presented at the krewe’s annual Mardi Gras Soiree on Jan. 18, 2025. The parade will roll through downtown Baton Rouge on Feb. 21, 2025.
