The 2024 Zurich Classic widely was considered the most successful event in the 66-year history of the tournament, and now the numbers validate those claims.

The event produced a record $3.3 million in proceeds to be donated to local and regional children’s charities, event organizers announced Tuesday.

Boosted by superstar Rory McIlroy and playing partner Shane Lowry’s appearance and victory, the 2024 Zurich Classic set attendance records and generated high TV viewership ratings over the course of the four-day tournament.

Proceeds from those record numbers will be directed to nonprofit children's service organizations in the New Orleans-Baton Rouge region by the Fore!Kids Foundation, which operates the event for the PGA Tour. The foundation donated $2.8 million to nonprofits last year and has donated more than $48 million since its inception.

The 2025 Zurich Classic will be held April 21-27 at the TPC Louisiana.
